Bordo Makes Changing Drill Tools A Breeze With Power-Hex
Bordo, Australia’s premier supplier of precision industrial cutting tools and power tool accessories, has recently added Power-Hex®, the world’s only quick change adaptor to suit both 1/4” AND 3/8” hex shanks, to its extensive range. The unique multi-shank feature makes Power-Hex® the most versatile quick change adaptor available.
According to Peter Sheridan, Bordo’s National Sales Manager, the Power-Hex® Quick Change Adaptor allows a broad range of accessories to be quickly and easily changed in and out of drills.
“Users can swap spade bits, screwdriver bits, hole saws, quick change drill bits, nutsetters, and so on without worrying what the shank size is,” he said. “What’s more, Power-Hex® works with hex shanks that have power grooves, and also with straight shanks.”
The Power-Hex® adaptor sits in the drill chuck, and the user simply clicks accessories in or out, thus eliminating the need for clumsy, time-consuming tool changes. It is precision engineered to minimise runout, and has a hex shank to maximise drill torque and eliminate shank slip. The sturdy industrial design means the adaptor will stand the rigours of trade use.
Bordo has developed the Tradesman’s hole saw kit to take advantage of the Power-Hex® technology. The kit, which comes with a Power-Hex® adaptor and spare pilot bit, contains nine hole saws each with Bordo’s new stub mandrels already in place. This means the user can quickly plug each hole saw into the drill with out wasting time inserting mandrels and pilot bits. This time-saving kit is packed in a tough, blow moulded case, ready for the serious tradesman.
